DAY 1: MAUMERE
Arrive at Frans Seda airport of Maumere. Transfer to Waiara beach resort for accommodation at Sao Wisata or Sea World Club. Relaxing and swimming at the hotel’s black sand beach.
DAY 2: MAUMERE – WATUBLAPI – MONI
Drive to Watublapi for village excursions where you will be welcome with traditional reception then followed by the performance of dance, music and folk songs. Continue driving to Moni with en route stops for relaxing short walks, snap shots and coffee break at simple café in Paga Beach. Stay overnight at Moni Kelimutu Eco-Lodge—a chic mountain eco-lodges with fabulous surroundings. An afternoon stroll in the vicinity of the lodge is excellent.
DAY 3: MONI – KELIMUTU – BAJAWA
Have an early morning excursions to Kelimutu. Enjoy a mild trek up to top of the extinct volcano. It is such exquisite little piece of nature where beauty and tranquility exist together. When more and more sun rays shine on the craters the placid colored lakes become more and more surrealistic. Mountain breeze and sounds produced by green casuarinas are truly entertaining.
Walk back to parking lot then drive to your hotel for breakfast. Heading Wologai to visit and see traditional village of Lio tribe which is perched on a hill of beautiful surroundings. Drive down to Ende enjoying the scenic rugged landscape en route. Lunch served at local restaurant in Ende. Continue driving to Bajawa with stops at Penggajawa blue gravel beach and Wogo traditional village of Ngadha tribe. Stay overnight at Happy Happy hotel or Silverin.
DAY 4: BAJAWA
Visit Bena, a traditional village located on the foot of Inerie volcano. Traditional house complex, impressive stone formations and ancestral shrines are things to see here. In the background just a stone throw from the village an extinct volcano with beautiful cone stands majestically. Drive further down to Gurusina then take a short trek up to Tololela village. Return drive to Bajawa for lunch—otherwise picnic boxed lunch is provided.
DAY 5: BAJAWA – LABUANBAJO – KALONG ISLAND
Drive westward to Labuanbajo. Stops en route made in Aimere to see how locals produce and distil sap of palm to make “arak” or local palm wine. Take a short relaxing walks in the vicinity of Ranamese lake. Lunch served at local restaurant in Ruteng. Continue driving to Labuanbajo. Upon arrival at the small but lively town of Labuanbajo direct transfer to the harbor and embark on your private boat. Cross to Kalong Island for mooring. Meals and overnight stay on board.
DAY 6: KALONG – RINCA – BIDADARI – LABUANBJO
Cross to Loh Buaya in Rinca Island, then walk to Rangers Camp. Trekking, encounter with Varanus komodoensis, wild boar and buffalo are today’s highlights of the adventures. Re-embark your boat to cross to Bidadari Island for swimming and relaxation. Lunch and breakfast served on boat. Afternoon crossing back to Labuanbajo then transfer to Hotel Puri Sari or Bajo Komod Ecolodge.
DAY 7: LABUANBAJO – OUT
Transfer to Komodo airport of Labuanbajo for your onward flight to your next destination.
